Engineered parquet, also known as engineered hardwood flooring, is created by pressing layers of natural wood at right angles to each other. Engineered parquet was created for 3 main purposes. The first is to keep the beauty and other points of the natural wood floor. The second is to overcome the disadvantage of natural wood floors that are prone to warping after a period of use. The third is to reduce the impact on the environment by using less natural wood.
