The rapid development of megacities is often accompanied by the expansion of suffocating reinforced concrete blocks, severing the primal connection between humans and nature. Faced with the daunting challenge of relieving spatial pressure and mitigating the urban heat island effect, the elevated park bridge model has emerged as a pioneering design language. There, transportation infrastructure is no longer static, dry structures but becomes monumental "green lungs" stretching across the city skyline. Inspired by the aspiration to greenify urban areas, iconic projects perfectly embody this mindset, where spatial limitations are dismantled to make way for the proliferation of flora. Instead of consuming expensive ground space, engineers and architects have ingeniously combined ultra-complex load-bearing engineering with multi-layered waterproofing technology to resurrect industrial ruins or unfurl ecological ribbons in mid-air. The fusion of heavy structural engineering and landscape aesthetics has transformed cold steel frames into self-balancing ecosystems. In the context of the increasingly urgent need for sustainable urban planning, the "eco-bridge" not only delivers microclimatic and economic values but also serves as the solution for a sustainable symbiotic relationship between humans, infrastructure, and nature.
