The relentless surge of real estate projects and commercial buildings in Vietnam is posing new challenges for resource exploitation and environmental protection. Large-scale reinforced concrete structures being continuously built not only confirm construction capacity but also meet socioeconomic development demands. However, accompanying this growth is tremendous pressure from carbon emissions, construction waste, and the depletion of traditional materials. This turns the choice of materials and construction methods for modern buildings into a major challenge: they must not only ensure load-bearing capacity and durability but also remain eco-friendly. In the green transition trend of the global construction industry, Mass Timber Architecture, particularly the application of Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), is gradually becoming a breakthrough direction thanks to a perfect combination of advanced material technology and pristine beauty. Composed of solid wood layers stacked perpendicularly and tightly pressed together, this material offers impressive load-bearing capacity, fire resistance, and thermal insulation. At the same time, CLT structures significantly reduce the total weight of the building, shorten assembly time on-site, and function as a "sink" that absorbs carbon throughout the building's lifecycle. Therefore, architecture utilizing CLT wood not only provides a soothing, highly aesthetic living space but is also considered a core solution for the sustainable building materials revolution..
