ALUSTEEL
ALUSTEEL is a combined name from "Aluminium" and "Steel" — a material line featuring an aluminum surface layer (coated with PPG Korea's Duranar PVDF paint) laminated with a corrosion-resistant PosMAC steel base layer, which increases hardness and fire resistance.
Why a Steel Core Is Needed:
The only drawback of aluminum is its low melting point (660°C), which creates a fire risk in conventional ACP (aluminum composite panels). ALUSTEEL solves this problem with a fire-resistant steel base layer (melting point 1,500–1,600°C) on the back side — even if the surface aluminum layer melts, the steel layer still protects the structure behind it, achieving an A1 fire-resistance certification rather than merely fire-retardant performance like the foam/fiberglass core of conventional ACP.
Advantages:
- More cost-effective than solid aluminum panels thanks to a reduced aluminum layer thickness
- Color retention for over 20 years in all environmental conditions (including marine environments)
- No coating delamination when bent to a 10mm radius
- Customizable colors

Applications: Exterior curtain wall cladding for office buildings, administrative centers, schools, and libraries — a replacement for ACP panels in projects requiring high fire-safety standards.
